The duties of the “Together FM for Guarding” security team include protecting people and property, such as patrolling buildings, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and writing detailed incident reports. They are responsible for enforcing rules, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of all individuals and assets on their premises.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Protection and Safety

    Protecting employees, property, and assets from harm, theft, or damage.

  • Access Control

    Managing the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles. This typically includes verifying IDs, issuing permits, and maintaining visitor logs.

  • Patrols and Surveillance

    Conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols to monitor for suspicious activity, inspecting doors and windows, and ensuring the security of the building perimeter.

  • Surveillance and Alarms

    Operating and monitoring surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to detect and respond to threats.

  • Emergency Response

    Responding to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, which may include providing assistance, calming situations, and supporting emergency response teams such as the police or fire department.

  • Reporting and Documentation

    Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents. This includes writing detailed reports for management and relevant parties.

  • Customer Service

    Providing information, guidance, and assistance to staff and authorized visitors.

  • Rule Enforcement

    Enforcing property rules and regulations, and addressing any issues with trespassers or violators according to protocol.
